ALCOHOL AND BEVERAGE SALES

Beverage token sales are located throughout Festival grounds.  Tokens are required for all beverages purchased from Festival alcohol, soda and water stands; cash not accepted. Food vendors do not accept beverage tokens. Alcohol sales end 30 minutes prior to closing and soda; water sales continue until closing. Tokens are $2 each.

BABY CHANGING STATIONS

Changing stations are located in the Dublin Community Recreation Center and at the Festival East Entrance.

BIKE PARKING

Save gas and ride your bike to the Festival. Park in the Ohio Health Bike Parking lots located west of the Dublin Community Recreation Center or at the corner of Coffman Rd. and Emerald Pkwy near Coffman High School. 

 

BREAKFAST

Sunday, August 8 from 9:30 a.m.- noon.
The traditional Irish breakfast--complete with Irish bacon, sausage, eggs and scones--will be prepared by The Irish Baker and Claddagh Irish Pub. Bob Evans, DK Diner, and Katie’s Pancakes will offer a Traditional American Breakfast.

CELTIC CANINES

The Celtic Canine area offers guests the opportunity to get an up-close look and even pet some of Irelands most loved breeds.

Only pre-registered Celtic Canines with credentials may be on Festival Grounds.  Celtic Canines may not enter any buildings.

CELTIC ROCK CLUB

Open to members only, the Celtic Rock Club is a VIP area elevated 4 feet above the ground.  The club provides a private, tented space where members can enjoy the entertainment on the Killian’s Celtic Rock Stage.  Click here for more information on becoming a member

 

CHILDREN’S ACTIVITIES

The Wee Folk area is located at the southeast end of the Festival.

COOLERS

No hard- sided coolers are permitted on Festival grounds.  Guests may bring small insulated soft-sided bags not larger than standard 6-pack size (6” x 8” x 5”), one per person.

DANCE LESSONS

The Cardinal Health Ceili Dance Tent allows spectators to take part in the traditional form of Irish dance and offers dance lessons.

DUB CLUB

Experience the 2010 Dublin Irish Festival from the new Dub Club. This VIP area offers an exceptional view of the Scotts-MiracleGro Dublin Stage.  Members have access to a private bar and restrooms.  This package offers individual guests daily access to the Dub Club and Festival admission tickets.  Click here to become a member

EMERALD CLUB

5k

The IGS Energy/Dublin Irish Festival 5K will take place on Thursday, Aug. 5 at 7 p.m. and will begin and end in Historic Dublin. This event will be the kick-off to the DubCrawl

FEIS (Pronounced “Fesh”)

The Adult Feis competition is on Friday, Aug. 6 at 8:30 p.m. (warm-up starts at 7:30 p.m.), at the Cardinal Health Ceili Dance Tent.

The Columbus Feis takes place at Dublin Coffman High School on Saturday, Aug. 7. A separate admission price is charged.  For more information visit www.columbusfeis.com

The Parade of Champions is a dance performance, featuring the winners from Saturday’s Feis contest.  This will take place Saturday, Aug. 7 at 8:30 p.m. on the Irish Thunder Stage.

 

FESTIVAL FINALE
The 2010 Finale will be led by members of Scythian at the ScottsMiracle-Gro Dublin Stage at 8:15 p.m.

 

FESTIVAL MERCHANDISE

Official Dublin Irish Festival merchandise is available at the Festival and online.  Choose from T-shirts, hats, pint glasses, bottle openers and more!

FIREWORKS

No fireworks are permitted.
No fireworks will be displayed.

Located at the southwest, north and east entrances and staffed by Washington Township Fire Department

HANDICAP PARKING

Located in the north parking lot of the Dublin Community Recreation Center (DCRC).  A limited number of wheelchairs are available at the Information Tents and at Festival Operations in the DCRC.

IRISH COMMUNITY PRIDE PARADE

Representatives from local Irish organizations showcase pride in their heritage.  Parade route is from the east gate to Time Warner Trinity Stage at 5:45 p.m.

 

IRISH CONTESTS

Sunday on the Wendy’s Wee Folk Stage, Skelly the Leprechaun will emcee three contests in the categories of:

Reddest hair
Greenest eyes
Most freckles

These contests are open to guests of all ages and will take place on the Wendy’s Wee Folk Stage, Sunday Aug. 8 at 3 p.m.

Age categories: 8 & under, 9 to 17 and Adults

Did you know the Festival holds the Guinness World Record for the largest Irish Jig?  The record breaking achievement included 10,036 DIF participants on August 4, 2007.

Lost children should be taken to the nearest Information Tent.

LOST AND FOUND

Lost items may be turned in at any Information Tent or in Festival Operations inside the Dublin Community Recreation Center. Guests may complete a lost item form so they may be contacted if the item is later found.  All items will be kept for one month after the Festival at the Dublin Community Recreation Center. To inquire about lost items post-Festival call 614-410-4545.

RE-ENTRY

Same day re-entry is allowed.  Guests may have their hands stamped when they exit the Festival grounds for later re-entry.

 

RV PARKING

For Participant ticket holders, RV parking is available at the Dublin Community Recreation Center.  For Festival guests, RVs may be parked at Metro Center.

SEATING

More than 8,000 chairs are provided at the entertainment venues.  There is no need to bring lawn chairs.  Lawn chairs are not prohibited but discouraged.
