The days around St. Pats are a great time to see both local and international touring Irish Bands. It really helps people around our offices get in the mood for Irish Festival – just a mere 149 days away.
A lot of time, we get the question, why isn’t the Irish Festival in March? – well, the 20 degree weather we’ve been having is one big reason – while we can’t guarantee perfect weather the first weekend in August – at least we know it won’t snow!
The biggest reason DIF is in August is the Columbus Feis. The Festival started as an after-party for the Feis way back in 1988. There is an international board that sets Feis dates, and ours is the first Saturday in August. This is also the reason this year we actually start in July since Friday is the 31st. UPDATE: (6-25-09) We are no longer giving away stickers on the web site. We have a very limited amount of stickers left. If you want a sticker you can come pick one up while supplies last at:
Community Relations
5620 Post Rd.
Dublin, OH 43017
It’s been more than 12 years since the Irish Festival has had a sticker for your car – it’s about time!
This oval design is based on the country car stickers that are so prevalent in Europe, but with our own special twist. When we designed it – we really wanted to have the green be the prominent color – rather than a basic white background – it really shows up great on a windshield.
The stickers are removable and are also great for your guitar case, computer, snow board, or whatever else you want to show your DIF pride.
By putting this sticker on your car, you show the world that you are a Festival fan!

Welcome to the new Dublin Irish Festival Web site. We encourage you to take a tour of our new site. Each year we strive to provide you with the best online experience possible. We have incorporated a lot of new features and some oldies but goodies.
Even with all the new bells and whistles, it is the content that brings you back for more. And the most popular content… take a wild guess?
What is the one question all anxiously awaiting Dublin Irish Festival fans want to know? Is it the price of admission or what is the sand sculpture going to be this year? Both good questions. But, the one burning question that warms the hearts of Irish music fans all winter long… Who is going to be performing this year!
Your wait is over… 2009 Entertainment Line-up.
Enjoy!
