Wee Folk Area
The Wee Folk Area has long been a favorite part of the Festival. The area is broken into two separate venues, the Wendy’s Wee Folk Area where all activities are free and the Wee Folk Activity Area where the kids can shop for fun items or play the day away in our wrist banded play section.
2008 Wee Folk Entertainment Schedule
The Wee Folk area is open during the following hours:
Friday: 4 p.m. - 10 p.m.
Saturday: 11 a.m. - 10 p.m.
Sunday: 11 a.m. – 8 p.m.

Wee Folk Craft Area
In the free craft area, the wee folk will make their own one-of-a-kind Celtic creation. Items range from creating your own on-of-a-kind crown to a green-man mask.

Wee Folk Activity Area
With a $10 wristband kids enjoy unlimited play in the Wee Folk activity area where they can have a chance to kiss Dublin’s own Blarney stone, test their skills in the half-pint sized Gaelic games or bounce the day away in one of our inflatable castles.
Children can also shop at one of our vendors who offer fun items including Sandy Candy to face painting, to shamrock halos.

Irish Contests
On Sunday at 3 p.m. the stage is the setting for the Irish contests where people of all ages compete for the title of reddest hair, greenest eyes and most freckles. Show up to the stage a half-hour before the contests begin. Categories are 8 and under, ages 9-17 and 18 and older.

Wee Folk Stage
The Wendy’s Wee Folk Stage will offer traditional Celtic performers, as well as interactive modern entertainers. These shows will provide hours of entertainments for the Wee Folk.
